Edit what shoppers read
Labels and placeholders are plain text fields. Rename “Company” to “Practice name” without touching a template or a translation file.
Order without code
Each field carries a priority value, so moving a field up the form is a number change rather than a hook and an unhook.
Block checkout included
Custom fields are registered through WooCommerce's own additional-checkout-field API, so they survive on the block checkout too, not just the classic shortcode.
